God is good all the time

Thank you all so much for your prayers and support.  There is no way we could get thru this time with out our friends and family lifting us up in prayers.  We feel God working in our lives, but it is so very hard to go on.  I received so many wonderful cards but I wanted to share one with you.

The Plan of the Master Weaver

Our lives are but fine weavings
That God and we prepare-
each life becomes a fabric planned
and fashioned in His care.
We many not always see just how
The weavings intertwine,
But we must trust the Master's hand
And follow His design,
For He can view the pattern
Upon the upper side,
While we must look from underneath
And trust in Him to guide...

Sometimes a strand of sorrow
Is added to His plan,
And though it's difficult for us,
We still must understand
That it's He who fills the shuttle,
It's He who knows what's best,
So we must weave in patience
and leave to Him the rest....

Not till the loom is silent
And the shuttles cease to fly
Shall God unroll the canvas
And explain the reason why-
The dark threads are as needed
In the Weaver's skillful hand
As the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned.

This says it perfectly so that I can try and understand His plan.  We who are left behind have the sorrow, but Austin is with God, perfect and smiling.  Oh the day when I can hold my baby again and tell him how much I Love him.

Praying for you and your entire family Sally, Tom, Tyler, Trevor, Andrew and Ava. Thank you for sharing the poem that spoke such awesome words of wisdom. 2 Corinthians 1:3 says that God is the source of all comfort. May God continue to hold you close and comfort each of you in these overwhelming days.
