It's Official Tyler is a MAN!

18 years ago, I was giving birth to my first born.  We didn't know if I was pregnant with a boy or a girl, but we had decided on names for both.  Tyler for a boy, and Kaitlyn Irene for a girls name.  Well behold my son Tyler was born, he was a whooping 9lbs 9oz of pure boy!  He didn't really want to come out, he took a LOT of effort to convince him it would be fine in this world.  The doc did suction, foreceps, more suction and then finally he apeared.  He was beautiful from the beginning with a full head of hair and a huge head.  Tom says his big head is to hold all of the brains he has.  He was and is a great son.  He was an easy baby, never giving us too many troubles.  We are so proud of him and we wish him Gods blessings on his life.

Citizen of the Year for Jr. High

We Celebrated Tyler at Olive Garden, his favorite!

Trevor made a DVD of Tylers Life for school last year and surprised Tyler with it!

We love you Tyler and are so proud of you!

Where are my brothers going?

Well the first day of school has come and gone, and it was a successful day for the boys.  They are all out of the house and Ava Grace is very, very sad.  She did not like being left behind.

Flower Girl

Ava did a great job as flower girl.  I was a little concerned at the rehersal.  Ava seemed to be a bit overwhelmed and only wanted her Gerber Puffs.  On Saturday, she had a great nap, and we got her ready and she was soooo cute.  She walked down the aisle as she was supposed to and then she saw the photographer that was in front of me and got a little scared.  She started going back to Tom, but I called her and she then came up front.  I didn't know how she would do with all of the people there, but I think she did good.  I had a friend come and pick her up early at the reception because she was overwhelmed by that point.

The skies were this beautiful shade of blue, I was concerned because it had rained earlier in the day, but it ended up pretty.  A little hot and a little humid, but the reception was inside so thank God for air conditioning.

My beautiful niece Lindsey (brides sister)

Lauren and Ryan being announced as
husband and wife
isn't she gorgeous!

My beautiful princess

All my nieces
Rachel, Lauren, Lindsey and Mikaela

We danced ALL night.  My niece says that Tom and I, David and Kelly, Mark and Julie, Jim and Whitney (not pictured) earn the "Old Peoples Award for dancing."  What are we old?  I didn't know any of the songs after the first 3 or 4, but that didn't stop us from having a great time.  I think we may have embarrassed our boys along the way.  Mark and Julies kids, Matthew and the other flower girl Caitlyn were dancing fools.  They went all night also.  I think I learned a few moves from them!  Congratulations Lauren and Ryan, May God Bless you and keep you, may He make His face to shine upon you and give you PEACE!

Austin Started School Today

Well Austin started school today, he is a Sophmore now.  He has been at school these last 2 weeks for soccer.  It has been a huge bummer with him in soccer, we lost our carpool person so on Austins 2 a day workouts I have been driving back and forth.  It is about a 20 minute car ride with out traffic, so we just stay out by his school.  Needless to say, Ava and I have been doing a lot of shopping.  The other boys start next week.

Trevor played in a soccer tournament last weekend, and I thought it was funny how they wrapped his arm for the game.

Does it look like a Candy Cane to you or a Barber pole?

Hottttt

Ava picked up a new word from Sara:

Hott

only she says it soooo cute it starts out like a whisper hhh and then you add the oottttt on to it with her cute little smile and I just laugh everytime she says it.

We went out to eat and we stopped by a local fountain where Ava quickly cooled off.  Tyler was very embarrassed that she ended up in just her diaper cover up.  He is keeping her very modest.  What a good big bro to protect his little sis!

Hot Weekend of Soccer then Lake

Andrew had a soccer tournament in Rockford this weekend.  Andrew, Ava and I went on Saturday and we came prepared with a huge umbrella and lots of fruit and drinks.  Andrew played well and Ava did great while she was watching.

This adorable shirt, I bought from here, please check out the blog to help raise awareness of the orphans.  Ava wore this shirt and I can't tell you how many people stopped to read the shirt and then some would ask me about it.  It was great being able to tell about the need for those to adopt all of those orphans.  We just bought this shirt and it came in on Friday, so Saturday was the first time for Ava to wear the shirt.  I am soooo excited to inform others of where our beautiful daughter came from.

After the hot weekend at soccer we went to the lake and met up with everyone else.  We had a great time, it was relaxing and fun.  The summer is almost over and I wanted to hang on to that feeling just a little longer.

The whole gang finally together for our picture

4 of the silly kids trying to sink the bouy.
It was actually hillarious watching them.

A Tampa Bay Buccaneers Fan?

Tom coaches Andrews football team, and as he was getting his things organized Ava decided to join in on the spirit.  She looked so cute trying on the hat all by herself.  Andrews team is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

High Heels

My Princess is amazing.  She can walk around the house in my high heels with NO PROBLEM!  It must be the russian in her.  She loves to put them on and walk and she hears the click clack of the shoes on the hard wood floors.
